广东证券期货业协会（以下简称“协会”），原名为“广东证券业协会”，成立于1994年9月，于2007年4月5日更名为“广东证券期货业协会”。协会是依据《中华人民共和国证券法》和《社会团体登记管理条例》的有关规定设立，经原中国人民银行广东省分行批准并在广东省民政厅注册登记的广东（不含深圳）证券期货业自律性社团管理组织。协会属于非营利性社会团体法人，接受中国证监会广东监管局和广东省社会组织管理局的业务指导和监督管理，同时接受中国证券业协会、中国期货业协会、中国证券投资基金业协会的业务指导。

Guangdong securities and Futures Association (hereinafter referred to as ""association""), formerly known as ""Guangdong Securities Association"", was established in September 1994 and renamed as ""Guangdong securities and Futures Association"" on April 5, 2007. The association is established in accordance with the relevant provisions of the securities law of the people's Republic of China and the regulations on the administration of registration of social organizations. It is a self regulatory association management organization of the securities and futures industry in Guangdong (excluding Shenzhen) approved by the former Guangdong Branch of the people's Bank of China and registered with the Department of civil affairs of Guangdong Province. The association is a non-profit social organization legal person, which accepts the business guidance and supervision of the Guangdong regulatory bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Guangdong Provincial Administration of social organizations, as well as the business guidance of the China Securities Association, the China Futures Association and the China Securities Investment Fund Association.
