广州金融科技股份有限公司（简称“广州金科”）是由省市国资共同发起设立，前身广州商品清算中心于2015年4月作为中国（广东）自由贸易试验区南沙片区十大项目之一挂牌成立，随着金融科技等新兴行业蓬勃发展，为了更好地适应地方金融发展新形势新需要和服务广州区域金融中心建设及金融科技创新发展战略，广州商品清算中心于2020年9月1日正式更名。

Guangzhou Fintech CO., LTD. (GZ Fintech) is the first key infrastructure of local finance in China, which is set up under the approval of Guangzhou Municipal Government, abided by the requirements of Guangdong Provincial Government. On April 2015, GZ Fintech (before renaming Guangzhou Clearing Corp.) was formally established as one of the ten most important projects in China Pilot Free Trade Zone(Nansha Area). In order to better adapt to the new situation and needs of local financial development and serve the construction of Guangzhou regional financial center and the development strategy of Fintech innovation, Guangzhou Clearing Corp. changed its name on September 2020, with the vigorous development of emerging industries such as Fintech.
